It was established in 1962 to participate in, and make a contribution towards, the monumental tasks required to develop our kingdom into the modern nation state it is today. In addition, to make a specific contribution in transforming our nation's infrastructure system from what it was in the past to its emergence as a modern state rivaling some of the best known systems in the world.
